Where the numbers come from
Data Sources
Every statistic on this site is built from two public data providers. Nothing is estimated, hand-edited, or filled in by a person โ and none of it is generated by an AI model.
CoinGecko โ prices, market cap & volume
Daily USD price, market capitalization, and 24-hour trading volume for every tracked asset. This price history is the raw input for every event definition and forward-return calculation on the site.
Binance Futures โ funding rates
Perpetual futures funding rates show whether leveraged traders are, on balance, paying to stay long or paying to stay short. Persistently negative or extreme funding is often associated with crowded positioning, which is why it's included as its own event category.
How this data is handled
Every page on this site loads instantly from data that was already fetched and checked ahead of time โ nothing is pulled live from these providers while you're viewing a page. New data is synced on a regular schedule, and older history is periodically re-checked so provider corrections are reflected here too.
See the methodology page for exactly how this data turns into event definitions, independent occurrences, and forward returns.
